2026 marks the 75th anniversary of the Morgan Sports Car Club, a club we’re proud to share such a close association with, and honoured to support as their chosen charity partner.
Over the past three years, this relationship has created valuable opportunities for our young Ambassadors to engage in the car club scene; competing in MSCC events, building meaningful connections with members, and becoming truly immersed in automotive culture.
Kicking off a summer of celebrations, we were delighted to welcome the Club as they took over our stand at April’s Bicester Motion Scramble.
For those unfamiliar, the Scramble perfectly captures the buzz and vibrancy of the motoring community, bringing together enthusiasts united by a shared passion for all things automotive. This year’s event also marked the centenary of former RAF Bicester, a milestone reflected across the site. Highlights included a Bristol Scout, a British single-set biplane used to great effect during World War I, taking centre stage in Hangar 113, surrounded by 14 vehicles from 1926. The main theme of the event was a striking celebration of V-engines on the Orchard Lawn, and as usual, Specialists across the site opened their doors in tribute to the centenary. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all.
This year, our stand found a new home directly in front of Gate 1 where we showcased six Morgans, including our own Morgan Plus Four, kindly loaned to us through our relationship with the Club. From recent models to race-prepared examples, it was a brilliant display that attracted plenty of attention from visitors throughout the day.
Our ‘Golden Ticket Lawn’ once again featured an exceptional line-up of Ambassador-selected vehicles. A long-standing Scramble highlight, the Golden Ticket initiative gives our Ambassadors, positioned at event entrances, the privilege of hand-picking interesting and standout cars to feature in a central display, creating a carefully curated collection for visitors to enjoy.
The day also gave us the opportunity to welcome young enthusiasts we’ve supported and mentored in recent months. For some, it was the first chance they’d had to experience a broad spectrum of the automotive community in a unique and relaxed environment.
As always, we’d like to convey a huge thank you to Bicester Motion for their continued support of the charity, and to the MSCC for their ongoing friendship and collaboration. We’re looking forward to continuing the celebrations at their 75th Anniversary Event in July.
