StarterMotor is delighted to announce that it has been selected as the official charity partner for the 2026 Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, taking place at Birmingham's NEC from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026.
As the UK's premier indoor classic motoring event and the traditional finale of the classic vehicle season, the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show provides an ideal platform to raise awareness of StarterMotor's mission: inspiring and enabling young people to explore careers across the classic and historic vehicle sector.
StarterMotor collaborates with schools, colleges and industry partners to showcase the wide range of opportunities available within the classic and historic vehicle community. From engineering and restoration to events management, marketing, sales and specialist services, the Charity helps create pathways into rewarding careers while supporting the preservation of the skills, knowledge and passion that keep the industry thriving.
With thousands of visitors expected to attend the three-day event, StarterMotor looks forward to engaging with enthusiasts, families and young people from across the community. The partnership will help highlight the importance of developing future talent and ensuring vital skills are passed on to the next generation.
Visitors booking tickets for the 2026 show will have the opportunity to support StarterMotor by adding a charitable donation to their order, with £3, £5 and £10 options available. Funds raised will help the charity create more opportunities for young people to experience the classic car world first-hand and connect with the people, places and skills that can shape their careers.
